We are going to be watching the parade, it goes right infront of our house.
Then we will hit the carnival and craft sale.
Then for food it is the all American Fourth of July meal, 1/2lb bacon cheese burgers, hot dogs and bi-color corn on the cob all cooked in a Weber grill over Kingsford Mesquite charcol.

Then tonight it will be fireworks.

Heading over to Boca Chica beach, which is right across a channel from South Padre Island. Padre is insane on the 4th. Waits on the bridge, which is 1.5 miles can be over an hour, each way, because of the huge fireworks show that is launched in the middle of the bay. So, we are heading to Boca, which requires about 8 miles of beach driving which can be challenging at times depending on tides and conditions. I'll potentially get to do some wheeling, and get an interesting perspective on the fireworks show. Oh yeah, beer and food included.

BIG cookout, lots of food and sweet tea. There is a pool at the house of the cookout, so Im sure i'll hit that up. We are heading home to make a family dinner, then we will head over to our friends house for fireworks and dessert. After that we'll come home and watch the night race at Daytona to wrap the day up. I love 4th of July!

Everyone have a great day!

I'll be spending my fourth in a local Italian restaurant's kitchen washing dishes till about midnight. Luckily it should be pretty dead tonight with most people barbecuing and such.

I am just hanging around the house helping the parents get ready to move. Crappy way to spend the 4th. We're going to barbecue some burgers and dogs later on then head down to the fireworks.

Nothing wrong with Haro bikes. I bought a Specialized FSR-XC Comp last year. Love it.
