haha fair enough. I didn't know if something had broken or if you decided to take it off for some reason.

Well we are back.
2,391.4 since Friday.
Averaged high 15's for mpg, thats with the roof rack and 2 guys and gear.
We kept the cruise at 65mph.
On Fri from mid Illinois all the way to Texas it rained and stormed and rained and lighting and strong winds and rain.
Apparently there was even a tornado, but we didnt know, we were watching "The Boondocks" on the portable dvd player.
We got to Ft Worth and set up camp, ate dinner, got cleaned up and then took a nap.
Got down town Dallas for the concert and as I was parking the truck at 8pm the tach went dead and the battery light came on.
DOH!!
Went and had a drink, lost some more hearing and fired up the truck and all was well.
Next day left for the Norman OK Music Festival, the tach started acting up half way there, alt going out.
Damn rebuilt crap from Advance Auto.
Stopped at a AutoZone in Norman and bought a $10 socket set and then replaced the alt in my truck with one that I got from Rod (he's on the forum), then we did Yegger shots and enjoyed the festival.
Left there and drove straight home with no issues.
I have been posting lots of pics of the trip on my blog and Facebook.

Oil change? I just changed it the weekend before the trip.
I still have until 195,000 miles before its due again.
Right now she is at 191,888.
So thats 3,000 miles yet.

Doesn't sound right though does it?
I drove 2400 miles but still have 3,000 miles until my next oil change?
But I change my oil every 5,000 miles and I changed it early this time.
So changing it at 195k will be alittle late but it will get me back onto my oil change schedule.
