9 inches of snow in a couple of hours

Gotta say ... the diesel puts out some heat!

A Land Rover (an older Land Rover) in the snow is like a cat in a rocking chair.

Looks great.

And with my current tires, is like my cat trying to get traction on the hardwood floors

Interesting, took me a minute to figure out what l was looking at. Seems to be an older series lll chassis, (leaf-springs/per 83) with slightly newer land rover 110 body (push button doors, wider wheel flares, longer hood/different grill/post 83). Gas or diesel...l'm thinking gas...since it looks like you have enough heat to defrost winshield...lol.

Great picture...granted...l hate snow...lol.

Welcome to the board. Nice to have another 110 in the mix.

It is an '87 Land Rover Santana, pretty much as you said Series III chassis, diesel engine, Defender body. The badge on the back is wrong (4WD Station Wagon), it was on there when I got it (I can't find a proper Santana one so have left it so far) ... but the photo had a nice aesthetic.

Yeah, thought about it later and wondered if it might be a Santana...snow on roof is hiding double safari windows.

Still it is a nice series of photo's. Apparently the Spanish like their heat the UK ones do not defrost that fast - if ever

That's some pretty deep snow. What mode did you traverse in?
