Default Repainting series 3

I am looking at a 1974 series 3 88 located here in North Carolina. It appears to have been well restored. The body appears to be in good shape with no rust and no bodywork required However, it has been repainted in a bright orange, which is not to my liking. If I bought it, I would have it repainted pastel green. Does anyone have just a rough ballpark idea of what it would run to have this repainted by someone who knows what they are doing? Thanks.

Nice vehicle choice. I can’t really answer about paint costs. A good job won’t be cheap. Did they paint the interior orange too?

Paint costs are highly variable and depend on your location, how much prep work is needed (problems like to hide themselves from basic inspections), the 'quality' level you are looking for, etc. Your profile says you're in South Africa... in the US, expect to pay ~ $2000-10000 for a typical 'quality' color change paint job.

Edit: weird... I looked at your profile 2 minutes ago. It clearly said you were in "ZA." I then noticed your second post asking about US paint sources. Now your profile says "US." I have excellent vision, and I wouldn't have just hallucinated South Africa. Did you just update your profile?

It depends on how nice you want it to be. A high end paint job can be $20,000. If you do a lot of the prep, Maaco can spray it for $3000.
