Default Series 2A enigine in a series 3

Got an old land series III recently with a series 2A engine in it. Problem is that the clutch struggles to engage/disengage.Could this be due to the engine transplant or should I be looking somewhere else, or is this a legit conversion

You're gonna want to post this in a different forum. This is an LR3 forum.

Default Replace stuff

Replace the clutch master cylinder slave cylinder and clutch assembly and while the trans is out closely inspect the clutch mechanism inside the bellhousing , if you are going to keep the vehicle.
