What do
Excuse the ignorance haha
I got my hands on my first car, it's currently in Queensland and I've moved to Nsw but it will be down here soon.
Essentially got a couple questions
The car is a series 3 109 troopy, not too bad on rust and before I do any modifications it's gonna need to be shown some love however I do want to know what I can do as far as mods go, I understand she's a 47 year old car and there isn't much I can do but I plan on making her a decently capable offroad vehicle that can somewhat compete with clapped out gqs and cruisers.
first is lift, I'm pretty sure I can't do much in the way of that but doesn't hurt to ask, second is tyres, how large have people gone and how have they gone about that?
Basically if anyone's got any wisdom to shoot at a 17 yr go ahead

On my 2A 88” I had Parabolic Springs which gave me about a 2” lift. I had 33”x8.5” BFG Mud Terrains on it. I thought it was perfect.
You will love your rig. It will easily compete with your friends vehicles.
