Asking $2000 cash. (Just trying to recoup down payment on new car.)
I'm finally parting with my '04 DII. I bought it with 80K, now it has 130K miles. In the past year, it was only used to pick up the kids from school (about 5 to 8 miles per week.) I no longer have time (or desire) to turn a wrench. Here's what I have done to the vehicle since owning it since 2010 (some threads in the forum on the work and discussions relating to the work, as well):
Rebuilt driveshaft/propshaft (US U-joints)
Changed plugs, wires, air filter
Replaced purge valve
Did the ABS fix
Replaced brakes and rotors
Replaced tires (new General Grabber AT2s)
Replaced throttle body heater and gasket
Replaced throttle body heater hoses
Replaced thermo (OEM)
Replaced expansion tank to rad hose
Replaced expansion tank to thermo hose
Repleaced serp belt (w/out ACE)
Replaced coolant/water pump
Replaced one of the horns
I'll include the following (since I don't need them anymore) -
UltraGauge
Jerry can
Current known issues -
Error codes P0150 P0174 (inspection sticker is expired since 04/2014)
The front sunroof doesn't operate
Roof leaks near front passenger corner (could be related to front sunroof)
Passenger visor damage from water
Roof liner stained and hangs from water leak damage
Rear right splash guard broken
Passenger side door locks don't open electronically (they do lock, but must be unlocked manually by pulling interior handle)
Coin and cigarette lighter trays don't spring open
Other things are pictured
The locking differential is fully operational. I make sure to use it and move it so it is not frozen.
No delivery. Pick up only in Englewood, NJ. Ask any questions in this thread or PM me.
Thanks.
Here are some pics (sorry so dirty - seriously barely driven lately and I'm exhausted) -
Error codes (O2 sensor related)
Horn button popped off, so it's held in place with duct tape
Before I replaced the window regulator, I held the window up with duct tape, so there's damage and wear
Plenty of tread left on General Grabber AT2s
The usual DII molding sun-wear
Front, right bumper corner was cracked from a driver reversing into it while parked (idiot).
Paint is still, despite normal wear, in good shape.
Rear passenger mud flap cracked
I'll leave the jerry can (I don't need it.)
ABS fix done, plugs/wires done
passenger side visor damage from water leak
front sunroof doesn't open (probably from water damage - not sure)
Driver visor is fully operable and lights up
passenger side visor damage from water leak
worn parking brake boot
center (black) bumper cracked (probably brittle from weather and time)
one rear fog light bulb is out but will work if replaced
Fortunately (and probably a little sad), I never went off-roading with her. Once, she was in bumper-high water (and bent the front license plate) and about 1.5' of fresh snow. That's the closest I got to "off-road."
