Default Where do the 4 short bellhousing bolts go?

I can't remember. I have 4 short, 2 extra long, and 8 long bolts.

The CPS sensor bracket mounts onto the cylinder head or bellhousing?

I can't seem to find the bracket that goes onto the top 2 bellhousing bolts mentioned in RAVE, nor do I remember taking one off. I only remember the 2 brackets on the sides for the o2 sensors. Confirm?

Thanks!

There are four shorter bolts that come through from the front of the bell-housing (engine side), two below the starter and two on the other side in the same general area.

The eight longer bolts all come in from the back side of the bell-housing (trans side).

The only brackets I remember...are the two for the 02 sensor plugs. Although...one of those shorter bolts...may have?...held a bracket for the cooling lines, drivers side.

Brian.

Got it. Makes sense now. Yeah rave shows a bracket for the top two bolts but I sure don't know what that could be. Going to go with my gut here and ignore it...

The CPS sensor seems to mount very nicely on the cylinder head, so I'm going with that.

What about the heat shield that fits onto the motor mount? Which side does it go on? RAVE just says, "remove heat shield, if fitted" for both LH and RH.

The heat shield that mounts to the motor mount goes on the left (drivers side) and then other one mounts to protect the starter then there is one to protect the master cylinder and one to protect the vacuum servo
