Default Door lock pin

My wife and I had some custom door pins made. I have them listed for sale in the classified section with a special introductory offer for January at $20 shipped.

They work great. Thought I would share to see if anybody has any comments.

Good looking pin. I'm gonna have to put a check strap on my drivers door since the welded keeper on the frame has come loose and the one on the door, the hole broke when I put in a new pin

Looks like a real quality piece. Plus being 304SS you are going to kill the competition.... Door lock rod, Discovery 2 - Upgraded part Driver's door lock linkage rod, Land Rover Discovery 2

Thanks guys. Being that it is one solid piece of stainless which is machined down, there is not a whole lot of profit. We felt that offering a superior product at a comparible price to the competition was the way to go. This pin will NEVER break!

Pretty easy.

There are 2 ways:

1- Door panel on: locate Torx screw on inner door adjacent to door handle and remove. Carefully push handle towards rear of car to un seat. Lightly pull away from door at tumbler side enough to see white plastic connector which holds metal rod from actuator. Un clip white plastic and remove metal rod. Pull out handle. Door pin is held in will roll pin, lightly tap out roll pin with small drill bit or nail, replace door pin, insert roll pin.

2- door panel off: remove driver side door panel. Use a small pry tool to unclup plastic clip on handle to door lock actuator rod. Remove rod from handle. Locate torx at inner door jamb adjacent to door handle. Push handle towards rear of car to un seat, pull handle away from door. Pull out handle. Door pin is held in will roll pin, lightly tap out roll pin with small drill bit or nail, replace door pin,

I will be doing a video on the process in the near future. If anyone needs help with install, contact me.
