Default 150 Amp Alternator

Just installed a 150amp alternator. Not sure if its actually rated that much.

Old alternator died when coolant steamed leaked directly on the alternator and slowly not charging battery.
Not too bad tonight. Its only 19 degrees better than 18 degrees last night. 😀

Let me know how it works. I found a reputable company on eBay that rebuild the Bosch to a 200amp alt and they are $150 plus about $30 shipping. I'm looking at getting that one so when I do a dual battery set up and winch and everything, I'll have a bit better charging capacity. Plus for an extra $75 they will powdercoat it so it will match the rest of the stuff

99-02 Bosch based P38 RR 150amp Alternators will drop right in a 99-04 D2 with absolutely zero mods.

Same goes for 96-99 GEMS D1's. The 95-98 P38 GEMS based RR will also drop right into a D1.

You are right. The description is for Range Rover. It works fine and charge seems to be stable according to Ultra Gauge. Not bad I guess. I tried checking out alternators around and online, they were very expensive. Ultimately, it was a deal.
