Im in the market for a replacement chassis for my 2004 D2 and will consider a used chassis VS a brand new chassis; so long as I can get it galvanized for cheaper than the cost of a new unit. Prefer a late model 2004 frame. Frame needs to be rolling on axles and wheels so that I can tow it with my D2. I can rent a Uhaul trailer if need be. Frame must be 100% rust and corroision free and in perfect condition! No damage, no dents or missing crossmembers. Im looking to spend around $1,000 for the frame; seeing how a solid D2 can be bought for $2,000 these days. But I will consider all offers.

Im totally willing to travel a great distance for a good frame. Im currently based out of Portsmouth NH.

There are quite a few cheap D2 here. You could buy a whole truck for a 1000 or less. Rust free.

 

Most D2's throughout New England have rusted out frames. Im willing to travel a fair distance for a rust free frame. Call it peace of mind.

Removing the shell and mechanical parts from my frame will be labor intensive enough plus labor, say nothing about the time and money it would cost to remove everything off a donor truck. Tarheel appears to have a stripped rust free D2 frame ready to sell for $700. Gonna call him today to learn more. His business is based in North Carolina.

 

If your willing, I work cheap. I could strip it down to frame. Then you could ship the frame. Be cheaper than buying the entire truck.

 

I found a frame in North Carolina for $700. It has one small rust spot so I might be able to get a lower price. I was planning on renting a auto transport and driving down from New Hampshire to pick it up. Trailer will only cost $55 for one day rental. If you can offer a better deal than that I may consider your offer. But Im in a hurry to get a frame especially one for this low price before someone else grabs it. hes got it on ebay right now and some watchers.
