Yes there is a fix and no you won't lose refrigerant.
I haven't had the need to change my AC clutch but I saved this website in case I need one in the future...

Juke, Thank you so much. Just cost me 170 to had it vacuum and charge freon at Advance Auto. Also, are there special tools to do this job? I know you have not gone to this process but you might have an idea of removing the clutch. I checked youtube, seems like a need a puller to do that. But, I'll run to autozone for the time being and check the part.
Many thanks

you will want an electric/air impact wrench of some sort to loosen and tighten the bolt. Also, a expandable washer tool to release the washers between the bearing, pulley etc. if you do not have a bearing press you have to beat the bearing out with a hammer and socket.

Just came back from Autozone and here is the part they have and ordered it might need it somehow as well. Took picture from their screen.

CollieRover: Another question, once I get the clutch, will I be able to remove/install it without removing the pressure hoses?
Is there a way to test the wire or the power going to the compressor with a regular tester? Anyone knows how many volts going to the clutch? Can it be tested directly to battery? Thanks again

Clutch engagement or pulley bearing issue? Bearings are cheap/easy replacement. Clutch assy should normally come with new pulley/bearing and cost more. Impact not needed for such a small bolt. They sell tools to prevent clutch plate from spinning to remove bolt but you can normally just use a screw driver or bar.

No need to disturb hoses. 12vdc for clutch at connector or apply directly to see if clutch good/bad.

Clutch is just magnetic and really doesn't matter. You can check connector side or wiring diagram if you wish.

FYI image from AZ is just an installation kit not a clutch.

Yes, You don't have to move the A/C Compressor at all, and you don't have to touch the pressure hoses. It is pretty straight forward.

When you put the expandable washers back on, flip the jaws or your washer tool to compress the washer so it clicks in.

I had to clean the surface of the compressor to get my kit to sit properly. Take pics as you take it apart.

Also, you only want to use as many shims as you need, and keep your old shims. You may need them.

The picture looks accurate also. What is wrong with your clutch by the way?
