Back to the "modified" argument. Looks like LRO Magazine has a category called "Modified Land Rover." Can we all agree with this classification as being a catch-all for the vehicles we have been debating about??

Default 06 lr3

Beginning stages of building my 06 LR3. 4.4 SE. 135,000 miles. So far I’ve gotten some 265/65R18 BFG KO2s with the 3.0 Johnson rods. Absolutely love how it’s looking and coming along.

Right after I installed Johnson rods 3.0.

Are those running boards?

Good looking rig, but I'd ditch the rods and use the GAP tool for your tire clearance. You also want to use Land Rover wheels or else ensure that the load rating is sufficient. Not trying to $hit on your build, it looks nice. The GAP Tool will come in handy regardless, and you can throw those rods in a shoebox and take them with you on trips if ever you can't connect with your GAP tool, that's what I do.

yes there running boards. Planning on ditching them once I get some more funds to get some rock sliders. Yes I have been looking into getting the gap tool. Thank you for the info.
