Default Land Rover Hammock

Hi guys, Just finished my land rover discovery roof rack hammock setup. Tested napping for a short time and would like to try it next week for an overnight camping.
I dont want my pathetic yard so I just pick a nicer background.
Cheers

That is bad-*** looking -- looks like you're taking your rover paragliding haha.
Does it fold down / stow away? love to see a photo of that, and how quick the set up is

Can those gutter rails support 2 full sized adults? Looks like the stress is put directly onto the rails, not dispersed across the surface area of the rack

I like the look. If you can get it to fold down completely flat instead of having 2 feet of bar sticking up while driving then you'll really have a winner.

Yeah guys, its can be folded on the side and still have the entire roof rack floor space free to load any thing for travel.
Its only about 36 pounds of aluminum and stainless steel hardware for both sides plus give and take 5 pounds for the 2 hammocks and rain fly.

Probably comes in handy for those that would like to take a nap, while in route.

In Michigan, l believe it is against the law to ride in the back of a open truck bed...but I've never read anything about being in a hammock, on top of a Land Rover being illegal...lol.

Pretty creative Gerry!

Brian.

That looks very cool! Please don't forget to make an attachment for a balloon launcher.

WOW....Too bad you didn't have a 12 gauge to deal with those geese!

Couple questions;

What keeps the poles from folding in toward each other?
What is the winch mounted on the rack for?
How do you get in in & out? LOL
