I think this is too rusty.
I take my previous statement back. Wow that is bad. That’s not even repairable. Needs a cut and reweld new piece.

Car was with them for a few days. For that money I got the whole underside blasted, the welding work to repair the rear frame, also got the whole underside coated in some sticky black stuff which should keep things rust free for years.
Ive gone from thinking the car was scrap to having a good few years.
That is encouraging for those of us in the Northeast! I'm nowhere near that yet, but rust never sleeps. It's inevitable wherever they salt the roads that an unprotected (factory) frame will end up like that without severe attention year in and year out. Especially given that 99% of us are buying these trucks used and at the mercy of the PO(s) habits.
