Default Couple questions before buying this disco

04 se7 seems to be in good shape. Curious what tye group thinks of these frame pictures. No rust but looking for evidence of collision damage. Also how can you tell leather from vinyl seats?

Seats are easy, discovery 2 was never sold with vinyl seats in American markets.

Don't see any evidence of damage, for collisions you would look for metal deformation with more rust in that area if old accident, brighter metal if it just happened. If the steel bumper (under the plastic) looks much newer than frame you can assume something happened. Same with front bumper.

Thanks. Always nice to have a second set of eyes. It supposedly has a fully rebuilt motor with tophatt liners but waiting on documentation to confirm. Little odd since I know if I was the seller I'd have that document ready to share.

And unfortunately I will have to pull the new heaelihea down since the owner tried to clear the lines with compressed air which imI sure blew the drain line off the nipple.

The D2 was sold with vinyl seats in the US market. The S model came with vinyl seats, but some dealerships had Leather installed instead. On alpacha beige vinyl seats the piping is the same color as the seat, on Leather alpacha beige the piping is black. Also the Leather seats are fully preferated vs vinyl which isn’t (only way to tell on black seats).

Just wanted to double-check. Was a little surprised this see didn't have heated seats and was thinking leather vs vinyl factored into this.

To add to it, vinyl seats don't have the adjustable arm rest like leather seats have

All Leather D2’s can be turned into heated seats via a switch pack.
