Default Ipod/Iphone Control

I own a 2008 LR2 with the standard audio system. I have seen you can purchase cables that plug into the system but replace the CD player's input and you can charge and control the Ipod. What model Alpine system is in the 2008 and can anyone direct me to those cables?
Thanks

If you have a 6 disc cd changer, you can remove it keep the factory radio and use this ipod interface,
http://www.oemautosound.com/pc-543-1...interface.aspx

it will plug into the same cd changer connection, and the factory land rover radio will cahrge and control the ipod

Thanks - but it does not list a 2008 lr2? I had found it on my web search as well - but it does not look correct. Are you saying that it works on the lr2 with the Alpine radio and integrated 6 CD changer?
