Mid 60's Series IIa LWB Spotted
Was in OCMD over the weekend and went to the Infamous "Seacrets" bar/entertainment center. This is place was ridiculous, unbelievable what goes on in there. My buds and I had a blast. Wow!
Anyway, Upon gaining admittance by the 6'8 285lb bouncers then passing through the metal detector (that was a first) I literally walked right into this little gem parked inside the bar. Think it's a mid to late 60's.
I was all over this thing! I immediately went searching for the manger too inquire what it would take to get this home. Then a thought occurred to me. It's on a beach exposed to salty air year-round, Rust. I went back and looked under the truck and confirmed my suspicions. The frame and whole undercarriage was rusted beyond belief. Any hope for this thing, should I pursue it?

There is always hope, it just depends on how deep your wallet is sometimes.
If it is just a chassis that it needs that isn't a huge deal.
That photo looks way better than a 1965 Series IIa 109 station wagon that I saw in New York. The guy only wanted $800, but the thing head rust everywhere, chassis, bulkhead, breakfast, door posts, door frames, everywhere.
