I'll add to what Ed said by saying get the progressive rate springs from RTE if you can they ride much much better. I can't prove it but I felt they flexed a lot better as well.

Ive actually decided to go with a 2" lift instead of a 3"... Really prefer Old Man Emu products though. Always dreamed of having a 04 D2 with full size safri roof rack and old man emu suspension! But thanks all for the tips on suspension options

Bringing this back... I like the RTE 3" and Fox idea. Is 3" good height (COG related - not too high?)
And do I need all the xtra parts? RTE has a complete kit with front shock mounts, towers, pan hard bar, etc, etc.
Are all those parts needed to do it right?

BUT... With a 3" RTE, fox or other shocks. Do I have to ditch the front sway bar? I really need this to travel down the highway nicely at 75-80. Will be taking it to ski resort alot.
