RE: Dune Grappler DT NITTO
Ya that is what I'm in the process of doing. I just want the most agressive tire i can get ahold of in the states or canada. the wife wants to ride comfortable and sofisticated daily, and then on the weekend i can go play as long as it comes back how i took it so that is why I am dooing the body armor and seperate set of wheels.

Then put on a set of Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60/18s on there. The only thing those tires lack on (just a little bit mind you) is in serious mud pits. If that is on you plate for play time (and I would not recommend it with all the electronics on that truck), you may want to consider a specialised mud tire with a much more aggresive mud tread patern. I don't own a set of Coopers but I know a lot of LR3 owners that off road a lot and are VERY happy with theirs.

RE: Dune Grappler DT NITTO
ya i am leaning tward the cooper since i have not heard about the dune from anyone it is also like 30 bucks cheaper per wheel.
I am trying to get ahold of nitto to see what they have to say about their dune tire. the flame tire looks cool but not sure how effective it would be
I am not looking to go crazzy in the mud but we see alot of mud on the trail it would be nice if we could get the M/T over here.
