Default GoodYear Silent Armor

I saw goodyear 165/60/18 size tires. Anyone using them on a discovery 2? Can please post some pictures? Just wondering the white lettering on the wall. Thank you.

I'm going to assume you meant 265/60/18, not 165/60/18. If that is the case, then yes, they work great on the Disco and it is the largest size that can be fitted without lifting it, or so have I been told by the real Disco experts!! I'm getting ready to put just exactly that size on my wife's 04 Disco. I will be sure to post on how it performs once I do.

Hi Jantiz,
Youre right about the size. My mistake. I found a goodyear dealer here in Central New Jersey that cost $210.00 each balanced and mounted. I just have to order them a day ahead. Only with white raised letters, but thats ok. Thanks

Have them mount the white letters to the inside! By the way, my wife is NUTS about how much smoother her Disco rides with the Silent Armors

I just put a set of 255/70/16 on my Disco II. No rub problems but maybe when I go offroad. The tread is aggressiv enough to go offroad anytime but they do ride smoot and look good.

Hmmm.. thats a good size for Disco. Fitting is exactly right. You will not do a huge job.
