A friend of mine had a set of Super Swampers great off road tire.
Not for the road, the tires would follow any imperfection to the point
that it would try to yank the steering wheel from his hands.
I got to drive his truck once it was to much.
I have been very happy with my BFG ATs.
They are hard to beat for on road and off.
I have 245-75-16 's

What size tires your running, and on what, D1 or D2?

it's a d1 with stock sized tires as of right now. i'm thinking about getting a lift and maybe 31's possibly 32's if i can get them to fit with the lift i want. i do just a little off road driving like mudding every now and then and have gotten it stuck pretty bad once, but i am looking to get a little more into it. i also do some beach driving for surfing on some trips me and my friends take. it is my main ride to work and everything like that.
check my photos out to see it the night it was stuck.

yeah i got the steering dampner and the castor kit as well. which brings up another question, what the crap is a castor kit? it was part of the lift kit i ordered and i've never heard of one and i can't find anything out about it. i'm pretty confident that between me and my dad we could put everything else on but i have no idea what this castor kit is so i don't know if we could do that or not. anyways, thanks for all the help so far.

Gastor kits are used to reset the vehicles castor angle after a tall lift has been done. With out it, on a tall lift 3Plus inches, the vehicles tends to develop a sensitive steering problem. With kit kit you ordered, you will probably will only get about a 2"lift and I doubt the kit will be necessary.
I have a 3" plus lift on my D2 and noticed a slight difference, but not enough to worry about and didn't make any castor changes.
I would call and cancel the kit or at least make sure if you get it that you can return it if you decide not to use it after the lift is done.
