Default LR4: Moving to 18s and deciding on a tire

So I've been doing my research and I'm preparing some funds to get new wheels and tires for my LR4. I have the wheels in mind which will be the Nomad Sahara in 18x8 ET44 and my intended tire size will be 265/65r18 based on my research. 265/60r18 would technically be an easier fit, but I'm looking for as much increased sidewall as I can get without extensive modification.

Now as to the tire itself, my gut was to go with the BFG KO2 which is tried and true and numerous other owners have fit this tire without issue. The KO3 still isn't available in this size unfortunately so that will not currently be an option. This as we know is an LT E rated tire which I am fine with. As I've been researching, I've had to exclude other options I was interested in, due to having too much increased diameter or not having the desired Load Rating (Such as the Falken AT4/W and the Toyo Open Country ATIII). This leads me to another option which I unfortunately don't know much about and that's why I'm reaching out here to see if anyone has used them. I currently have the Goodyear Duratrac on my 19s in the stock 255/55r19 size (XL rating). I don't dislike these tires but they're not available in my intended size for the 18s. However a newer model, the Duratrac RT is available and this appears to be an appreciably updated version of the older Duratrac model it would be XL rated and not and LT E rated but I think for my usage that's likely ok. Another option I'm potentially interested in is the Kenda Klever RT, but I can't order it through my preferred tire shop (America's Tire).

Now my usage will be primarily city driving with highway and road trips of course, but I will be taking the LR4 off road as much as I am able to. I do not intend to do extreme rock crawling (though some within the vehicle's limits to be sure) but it will mostly be for trail driving is my estimation for remote camping / fishing purposes. I assume the XL load rating then would likely be sufficient for my needs, though the appeal of the incredibly tough sidewall on the LT tire is hard to ignore. Sorry this wound up being me kind of rambling, but I'd love to hear what others are doing for this size!
