LR4 19" Tire Options in 2018?
Apologies if this is a worn out topic, like the stock Continental tires on my wife's new/used LR4 will be in a few thousand miles.
Her LR4 has the 19" rims running 255/55/r19 tires.
It seems that the stock Continental tires for these trucks are short lived on the tread wear front, and maybe more suited for asphalt than gravel and other mild off-road conditions (e.g. forest service roads).
I see that in the past some folks have had good experiences with Cooper Zeon LTZs and Pirelli Scorpion ATRs, so my question is...
Are the above brands/models still considered good replacement options for mostly on-road with some occasional off-road driving, without compromising too much handling and road noise, while lasting a bit longer than 25-30K miles?
Have any of you folks found better alternatives to stock rubber and/or the above brands?
Thanks!

Cooper Zeons seem great for some folks hateful for others. Pirelli just came out with a a new Scorpion AT plus it is a good looking tire.
I ran Atturo trailblade MT's in that size on a D2 with good success. I have a friend running them on his LR4 and is very happy. They would be a much more aggressive tire though.

I'm on my second set of the Zeon's, and have been very happy overall. More noise on the highway than you will get compared to an all season tire, but not horrible. I do have a strange split in one tire that doesn't equate with off-road activities. It's like a knife was taken to it, right down the middle, but not enough to cause air loss. I'll keep it under 120mph until I decide what to do.
Thanks, folks.
I like the look of the Zeons and they seem to be a very good tire overall. That's probably what I'll go with since they also appear to be great in wet conditions; something common in here the Northwest.
The Atturo trailblade MT's look awesome! However, I think my wife might frown on me putting such an aggressive tire on her truck. Maybe I'll consider them when my D1 needs new tread again.
