Default Michelin LTX M/S2

I bought a 2000 DiscoII a couple months ago knowing it needed tires, I was going to replace the GoodYear Wranglers with the same or very similar tire. My girlfriends father owes me a little money, and he wants just do the tires for me which is a more than fair trade... He told me that the Michelin LTX M/S2 was going to be a better tire and has better ratings, and is what he wants to order for me. I agree with them being a better tire in general, but will they be better for my specific vehicle? I really don't have any plans on much (if any) offroading, so its mostly gonna be on the roads, with the occasional gravel road, with summer and winter driving. So does anyone have the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires, and are they a good choice for these trucks?

I got the tires installed just over a week ago, and I must say, these tires are much quieter than the goodyears that were installed before. I am very pleased with the lack of road noise, and the performance of these tires so far
