That tire was a radial. You can see it stamped on the sidewall in the picture.


If you are only looking for off road performance, it might be worth checking with some of the local clubs to see what works best in your area. Some tires that kill it in the mud are prone to getting sidewall cuts in some types of rock.

I wouldn't have known without seeing that. None of the radial plies were visible in that convenient cutaway view and the belts sticking out looked like they were out of a bias tire.


I'm not entirely sure that failure was due to the tire. From the looks of the remaining lugs, that tire got worked hard in the rocks.

I run the Treadwrights and haven't had any problems with them. Got another set for the 110 just need to get them mounted and put on it.

I just ordered the guard dogs for one of my work turds. They just did not accommodate the size, I wanted for the lr.
Awesome prices, can't wait to see how they perform.
