Default Treadwright Tires after a year

So I decided to post up these pics because I always see people giving Treadwrights a hard time just because they are retreads. A lot of times people give a line of bulls*#t about them letting all there experienced staff go when they moved or blah blah. Simply put I have been doing business with them for years and have never had a problem. Because I kept seeing these lies posted on here I questioned one of the sales guys I have worked with in the past and he completely put my mind at ease the last time I ordered from them. Before the move Treadwright was a relatively small company that only stocked tires based on orders. When they started doing more business it required them to put out a lot more tires and have room to store said tires so they were not making tires as the orders came in. That was the only reason for the move and they were not letting anyone go, instead they hired more people so they could up production in the new location.

Anyways, here are the set of Treadwright Guard Dogs I put on my truck last August. I have put roughly 12k on them and they are still holding up like new. Just thought I would document my experience with the company.

I've been contemplating getting a set of my tires retreaded by them, but it looks like they no longer do 7.50R16.

That's correct. I didn't go bead to bead although I probably will next time. All the local rednecks keep asking about my really aggressive Yokohamas.

I've had mine on the 110 for a couple years and I've been really impressed. Mine are not bead to bead either. Long wearing balanced out well and did great off road. Not bad in the snow and ice with the kedge grip stuff.

I've been really happy with them

In have a 3 year old set of 265/75/16's and hardly showing any wear.
By the way, they are having a sail now.

I got 40k miles out of my 31 10.5 15 guard dogs. And that was with badly worn front end parts on my explorer. Loved em. When I replaced them the inside edge was down to the original carcass and the outside still had 9/32. Gonna get a set, hopefully soon, for the rover.
