Default 18" A/T tires for LR3

Edit: Forgot General Grabber AT2. Now added.
Edit2: I intentionally omitted several tires including the Nitto Terra Grappler. Unless I'm mistaken they won't fit the LR3 without some mods or lift. (Looks like 285s will fit - not sure I want to run something that wide.)
Edit 3: Adding Bridgestone A/T Revo 2 - look good, but rolling resistance is high

Looking for A/Ts for the LR3. I drive on wet surfaces ~65% of the time so good wet traction is important. I drive on rutted dirt roads, almost always muddy. Not much off roading. I'd like better rolling resistance just from a gas perspective. Better vs. worse is likely ~$300/year in gas. And noise is a factor for my commute. Tire appearance is not a factor.

If I consider issues people have reported, it looks like Falken WildPeak, Cooper AT/W, Nokian Rotiiva are my likely choices. Hankooks would be at the top were it not for the noise issue. Is this a real problem?

After checking specs and reading some, this is how I rated several tires:

For best wet handling:
Goodyear Wrangler Adventure – poor rolling resistance, otherwise look good
Falken WildPeak – not great tread life, otherwise look good
BFG Rugged t/a – noisy, less good rolling resistance
Bridgestone A/T Revo 2 - not good rolling resistance

Ok wet handling:
Hankook Dynapro – look very good, read they can get quite loud after 15K miles(?)
General Grabber AT2 - look great on paper, noise is likely an issue
Michelin LTX – look good on paper, have read about issues with sidewall cracking
Nokian Rotiiva – these look good, similar to the Cooper AT/W (these may be made by Cooper)
Cooper AT/3 – these look ok, worse rolling resistance than AT/W
Yokahama geolander – look ok, worse rolling resistance, less expensive

Poor wet handling:
Goodyear Wrangler Duratracks – don’t have good wet road performance
Maxxix – rolling resistance not good

Likely don't fit:
Cooper AT/W – these look very good, only sizes available are 32"+

Any input appreciated.

Default What size for LR3 18"?

What are most people running on their LR3s? It looks like anything over 31" has potential to rub at full compression. Some people seem to be ok at 31.5".

You may notice I have another thread going here about tires. The stock size (255/60) is too limiting on tire selection - many of the tires I'm considering aren't available in that size. I'd rather not mod or lift for tires.

If 31" is the limit it looks like 255/65, 265/60, and 275/60 are the only choices. They're all 31" or less.

Thanks. Still not clear to me what will work. When I'm off road I'll be heightened so larger tires shouldn't be an issue. They could rub if I went to the max on suspension on-road, but that seems unlikely.

Can't find a definitive answer, but it looks like anything under 31" is safe and anything under 31.5" is probably ok. This puts 265/65s right on the edge (31.6). 265/60 looks fine.

Not sure why my two questions were merged. One was about tire size for LR3s, the other about specific tires.
