Annoyingly clearly the dealer broke this when they replaced the X taillights under recall last year. Wasn't me!

Not flush with the vehicle rear -- they protrude a little from the car (which matches the rest of the taillights). I think they'd look better recessed slightly but it ultimately looks OK to me.

Installed (ish) & testing illumination. The red is a slightly different shade (more red than the JLR taillamp which are a bit pinkish by comparison).
