It wants to be a Prius. Haha, I reset the trip computer on a 3 mile down hill stretch. Probably as high as that number has ever gotten on this vehicle :) .

The updated "series" rovers called Defender. This one is a D90. Can you see the resemblance between it and the series II?

This is about as basic as any vehicle can get. It smells of grease, its top speed is 75mph, but it will climb anything and go anywhere. I love the sound of the little 4 cylinder engine. Sounds like a little tractor. Oh wait, it is!

A 72ft tall Forrest fire watch tower. Its made of galvanized steel and there is quite a view from the top. One of the rangers said they were in it when it got struck by lightening and that the walls started to glow blue and energy "dripped" from the sides of the walls. They said it was very cool and scary at the same time.

The owner of Jug mountain ranch and Hotel McCall hosted the event and provided us with private parking. A Chevy truck tried to park here. We told them they could park here if they drew a big land rover logo on the back window with one of those window pens. They said they wouldn't do it. so I pointed out that the owner of the Discovery and the Series II had winches on them and said that the Chevy might be in a different location when they got back. They got scared and left lol!

To the left is the event coordinator Gordon. He was trying to convince me I could go down this steep incline and up another. Doesn't look like much in the photo, but it was pretty intense.
