It's a subtle change, but I'm happy with it and it only cost 3 dollars for the material.

Got some sun so I took pictures of the finished work from the weekend.

Crispy, I can imagine a TT Rotary........ a blast, I think I'd be all grins.

It reminds me of the Datsun Z cars in those pics, the set in head lights, air dam and wheels.

I think I'm going to start non-turbo and see how that swap goes. Then I can move up to a turbo motor down the road. At that point though I'll already have the mounts etc done just need to see what else needs clearance for the upgrade.

Thanks Tom $3 piece of metal gutter guard from Lowe's and some pop rivets. I think it really cleaned up the look of the front end.

Pretty much except i left the part that latches on to the gutter. It fit the latch support perfect for the top mount

Kinda odd but I picked up a 94 Saturn SC2 with the 1.9 16V DOHC (124 NA ponies) for $50 bucks........ not something I was looking for honestly it just got dropped on my head. I'll be the fifth owner of folks who work for our company. I know everyone it's belonged to from the original to the last, great history and well taken care of except.........it broke it's timing chain with the last and she nearly attacked me to give it away. So, it aint a sports car but it's gonna be a fun little project to work on. Tiny is the word. I can probably remove everything with a 1/4" drive ratchet.

It's white, kinda think a dip is in order and some larger rims with tight skins and maybe lower it an inch or two........make it look sharp but not kiddie car. The Rover needs a rest as my dd so the timing is spot on for the summer and I'll get fuel mileage like I'm riding a pedal bike. Not a huge fan of FWD but it's cheap so no complaints.

That's cool, sounds like it should be a cheap fun toy for ya.

So I apparently made a mistake on asking for advice on the rotary swap on the MG forum getting PM hate mail and in the thread you would think I was planning to burn the car from their reaction.

They apparently do not support the rotary idea. It apparently is better if I wanted to put power door locks in a 2 seater convertible.....
