Default problem with parkinglights

I have a problem on a Defender 300tdi 110 -97.
My parkinglights are lit whenIhave ignition on and all lamps are working. But whenI start the engine they goout and I cant get them to lit again while the engine is running.
Is there some relay that is switching whenI start the engine thatI can check? Does someone have any ciruit schematics on the parkinglight on this car?

Thanks Daniel

Default RE: problem with parkinglights

Do the main and dipped beam headlamps work ok with the engine running and do they turn themselves off when you switch the ignition off?

All the Tdi defenders have a feature which switches off the main headlamps when you turn the ignition off, leaving just the sidelights illuminated. If the headlamps don't switch off with the ignition, it sounds like the headlamp relay might be incorrectly installed or faulty.

Hope that helps,

The main and dipped beam headlamps works ok. Its only the parking lights that lights when the ignition is on but when i start the engine they go out. No matter how I put the light stickI cant get them to lit again. But i shall see if i can find that realy and see if there is something strange with it.
