Default 98 Disco Brakes

My brake pedal sometimes feels very hard to push down. Usually seems to happen soon after starting the engine. I have had someone diagnose the problem as the power brake booster. The same person who checked that also said that I needed a new master cylinder because it was leaking. I have been trying to order the parts from Autozone because they have a limited life-time warranty. The power booster is from Cardone and the master cylinder is from Fenco. Biggest problem is that they seem to be making them off-planet. I have been waiting weeks for delivery of the master cylinder and the power booster is still not available.

Can anyone tell me if the diagnosis sounds correct and if there is a better place to get the parts? Thanks!

This diagnosis sounds correct

Your brakes use engine power in order to assist in stopping, take away that power and the brakes will be much harder to push.

you can order from

roversnorth.com

or

roverparts.com (atlanticbritish)
