Red face Should have started with the fuel pump relay...

So at 125,000 miles I replaced the head gaskets. While I was doing that I figured it was a good time to replace a bunch of stuff.
New Head gaskets
New Water Pump
New Thermostat
All new hoses for cooling system
All new plugs and wires
New fan & viscous clutch

All good, right? Well about a year later it started stalling and running rough, so I didn't drive it as much... I decided after about a year of not much use to sell my Nissan truck and use the Land Rover as the daily driver. That meant it was time to fix that stalling thing...

I started with fuel injector cleaning and gas additives. Didn't work.
I put a new Crank Position Sensor (CPS). Didn't work.
I put a new MAF. Didn't work.
I took off the K&N and put the stock air cleaner on and then replaced the MAF again. Didn't work.
I replaced the CPS again and this time fixed the oil leaks from the valve cover gaskets. Didn't work.
Replaced the Cats and all 4 O2 sensors. Didn't work.
I put in a new fuel pump. Didn't work.
I put in a new fuel pump relay. Worked!!!

Fuel pump relay = $14.95
All the other stuff = about $2000.00

Wish I would have tried the fuel pump relay sooner, but wow does she run great now!!

Thanks to everyone for all the input and feedback. I fixed several other annoying things while I was trouble shooting the stalling that I found fixes for here on the forum. Really awesome!

Next I'm going to tackle the 3 amigos!!!

Thanks again everybody.

Bill
