Question Torque spec on axle drain plugs

After changing the fluid I noticed a slight leak from the transfer case and front axle drain plug. Nothing major but it needs to be addressed. What is the torque specs for these drain plugs. How ofter should they be replaced? Can you use a coating or teflon tape to prevent these small leaks?

Yes, but it is not leaking from the filler plugs it is leaking from the metal drain plugs.

So I am looking at the AB video here on service maintenance for the axles on the D2 and if you look closely at the service kit the transfer case fill and drain plugs look like standard oil drain plugs with COPPER WASHERS. My fill and drain plugs on my transfer case look like drain plugs on the pumpkins. They are inverted (square) 1/2 inch plugs. Is that correct?

By the way where did you guys buy your replacement plugs.

On the tc drain and fill yes inverted type plugs are correct, use teflon tape on them.

On front and rear diff drain use teflon tape and I put a link above to a brass fill plug for front and rear diffs/pumpkins to replace the plastic ones.

Yes you can use those to replace the plastic fill plugs in front and rear.

and don't know not right off hand on the torque. I just tighten those by feel but, if you download and look in the RAVE manual, I'm sure it's in there.

What about the fill capacity? In that video it stated that there was a specific capacity that you had to fill the TC and the Pumpkin and that it wasn't correct to just fill to the bottom of the fill plug. Correct?
