Default Cruise control vacuum line

Pretty new to working on Rovers. I have a v8 97 discovery that I picked up for a few hundred bucks. I'm playing around under the hood and noticed that the vacuum line for my cruise control is unplugged and cracked. I mostly use the rover for driving around the ranch and it doesn't see much highway use. Can I just forget about the cruise control? Do I need to seal off these lines or just forget about them?

Should be fine, though I would seal off the ports to prevent unwanted debris from getting in. If you are so inclined, getting a short length of vacuum tubing to replace the cracked line is fairly inexpensive.

Yeah, should be fine. Best I can tell, the cruise control uses a separate little electric vacuum pump. It is located behind and below left headlight underneath the jack.
