Default LR2 Reliability?

How reliable is the LR2, there is a 2008 locally with 39k miles for $23,888, it is at a LR dealer. I had a Freelander and it blew a head gasket, so I traded it a couple years ago, I have always been told to stay away from LR as they tend to breakdown and need repairs.

Default 15K Service

I have a 2008 and it has five free oil changes, also the warranty is 50,000 mi. or five year factory. All work is free. I used all my oil changes and replaced my Air Element and Pollen Element before I brought it in for servicing and they charged me 118.00. If anything else goes wrong they should cover it under warranty NC. And they do a hundred and something check on the vehicle.

Wait until you have to pay for a major maint like the 60K 10 K after your warranty expires. It will be around 6K$.

Thumbs up Re: 60,000

That's why I have a LR2, thats completely retooled from the original Disco and can change things like brakes rotors and whatever may break or wear out over time. It's a Landrover and it's not for the meek.
