Default Heated Seats

I traded in my '05 LR3 SE for a 2011 base model LR4. I was heistant on the base model because of the lack of features, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on it and even the base model is a sweet ride. So far the only feature I really miss that I had in the LR3 is the heated seats. It get's pretty cold here in the winter.

My question is if anyone knows if the LR4 is pre-wired for the heated seats and if the heating elements are pre-installed in the seats themselves? I have seen kits for older Land Rover Discoveries where you just buy the switches and once installed you can activate the heated seats because they were pre-wired.

I can purchase a climate controller on ebay that has the heated seat switches for a reasonable price and am trying to find out if I install it in my vehicle if the harnes for the heated seats will be there to plug into and if the elements are installed in the seats.

If anyone knows or can offer any insight on this it would be appreciated.

wont happen, the controllers won't work because the CCF file has to be written to include heated seats. Trust me, you are not the first LR3 owner to ask for it. The CCF file can be overwritten by only by the company engineers and a engineering SDD. We don't have access to that and they won't give it out.

And no they are not prewired.
