Default 06 LR3 in Cheney, WA

I just picked up an '06 LR3 with 75K on the clock as a second vehicle and light wheeler. Haven't had a whole lot of time to go through everything but I am excited to get to know my LR3. This forum looks like a great resource.

Welcome to the forum! That is one fine looking truck!

This is indeed a great resource for Land Rover, but not as much for the newer models (i.e. LR3, LR4, Range Rover MkIII).

If you are interested in getting out on the trails with some other of us Washington/Idaho/Oregon folks, take a look at Northwest Overland Society.

Luckily owners are starting to go to forums for help on these newer trucks. I guess they are tired of paying dealership prices?

I have had some volkswagens in the past and always found forums to be the best resource when I had any kind of issues other than using a factory manual.

I have heard some bad things about the reliability of the Land Rovers, but I think the benefits outweigh the maintenance cost. Everyone tried to sell me extra warranties, but I think keeping the 3-4grand in the bank for when something goes wrong is a better idea.
