Default new 1994 discovery owner

Hello all
I just purchased a 1994 Discovery with 150000 miles I have the power steering leak and brakes need bleeding. The previous owner said she never used premium gas it it runs good no pinging should I switch to premium? Body is in great shape cool that panels are aluminium. Front seats are a bit rough but overall not bad for $700.00, But most in that yet are around that price almost the value in scrap metal. (why is the value so low? my suzuki sidekick is worth more!)
looks like lots of fluids to change according to the manual.

Welcome. Please take advantage of the free download of tech and owner's manuals, called the RAVE, link below.

You will find lots of things to do in our technical section. One is a list of high miles things that will need to be done.

For seats, you can find those in u-pull-da-partz salvage yards for $25 or so. You won't find a good driver's seat. I used two passengers. See Disco 1 driver seat swap

Most "runners" are about double what you paid, so quite a deal, if no overheating (above 9:00 on temp gauge).

Thanks manual really helps. The car had non working brakes and steering, did the bleed on both and now working! I used Turtle wax color back and got the red to shine. Looks much better than the $700 I paid for it. Only rust I found is on the top of the rear wheel wells.
