Default LR National Rally - Oct 2-6 Moab, UT - Anyone going??

It's kind of a long ways off now the dates have been moved (thanks to Johnny Depp...seriously), but who's (is anyone) planning on going?

I am going to start lobbying my wife to make this our "summer vacation" and make the trek down from Seattle...all 18 hrs of it

Moab, Utah October 2nd – 6th, 2012 « Land Rover National Rally

Wow that looks like a blast. It is a bit away but thanks for the heads up. A trip like that from Philadelphia would take a lot of planning. Time to start scheming how to get out of work.

That would be a blast. But just too far for me to drive on a short amount of vacation.

That'd be a sweet vacation! First I'd have to ferry to Bellingham, then caravan with Rob...if only we didn't have that wedding and reunion this summer...

it's 2081 miles from philly. Google maps says it'll take 1 day and 10 hours to drive there, im assuming they mean straight, as in 34 hours. i dont know how long it would actually take, but im assuming google isnt taking into consideration that the car driving there is on 33" tires and a 3" lift and can't go over 65. IDK if it's in the cards for this year but this is a trip i plan on making at some point. 4162 miles divided by 10 MPG is 416 Gallons of gas, at 4.5$ a gallon. thats what.....like 1700$ in gas? i just threw up in my mouth

I was thinking about it. I would trailer it with the diesel because of mileage. If I can get the D II in my work and play that would be gold....Moab is good, they make beer there..
