I am spreading the word about this coming years Rally.
This past year we had participants from Australia, the UK, Canada, and Europe attend the event so I am posting details on some international sites.


The 2007 National Rally will be held in Montrose, CO August 15th-18th.
15th is for checkin, trails the 16, 17, 18th.
Montrose is in the Western part of the state and located between Grand Junction and Telluride/Silverton.

This is the current list of trails I am working on. It is not set yet, but I intended to have a final trail list and daily schedule NLT the end of December.
These range from #2 and 3 rated forest service roads through #10 rated half mile trails that take 4+ hours to complete.

As well as four wheeling the area is also popular with hikers, wind surfers, and fisherman. We are sure that you will be able to find activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Montrose RV Resort
We are open year around, all sites have 30 and 50 amp hook-ups plus free cable and free wireless internet. We fill propane tanks and have a dump station. U.S. Forest Service Campgrounds
The Ouray Ranger District offers campgrounds in the Cimarron area, Ouray and the Uncompahgre Plateau west of Montrose. Some campgrounds require a fee. Not all campgrounds provide potable water, showers or R.V. hookups. Campgrounds have a 14 day camping limit except for Amphitheater Campground which has a 7 day limit. Pets must always be on a leash. It is highly recommended visitors wishing to visit the National Forests surrounding Montrose purchase an appropriate map.

Black Canyon National Monument
Campsites have parking pads, fire pits and tables. Wood gathering is not permitted, so campers should bring their own wood or charcoal. Campsites available on first come/first served basis. Camping fee $7 per night. Campground open approximately May 1 - November 15.

Ridgway State Park
Over 250 R.V. campsites feature electric hookups, water, fire rings, grills and tables. Walk-in tent sites offer quiet seclusion in two areas. OK, the overview map has been finished.
All trails have been labeled with name and ratings.
Its a big file, 10megs.
The image is set up to print out on a 42" printer. Plan to have it laminated and then posted at registration and trail sign ups everyday.
