Default The 130

Same great truck that we can't get, now available in a new longer version.

Beast!!

I saw some other pics but I think the camo mule treatment is adding extra length that won’t be in the final reveal although who knows. But it’s gonna sell really well.

Just what the Defender needs... to be BIGGER.

Sheesh, isn't it already, like, the worlds largest vehicle? I'm having trouble adjusting to this behemoth's size, in case you were wondering, and I just have a 110.

It is already a beast indeed at 110, but the original 110 was basically this 130 size, I believe. We got lucky with little or near no rear overhang. That’s a trade off. But if you were doing safari tours the 130 is appropriate. At least I think so.

I do absolutely love the size of the 110, it’s just the real deal period.

I do think it is pretty large, but I think LR really F'ed up with the size of the cage area. It is about 6-inches too short to be of any good. I can not put my skis, kayak paddle, or even a 6' top ladder in the back end, even with the seats removed. I have never have a problem with my P38, XC90, XC70, 328 Wagon. I think this was a huge oversight on LR's part and I will be more then willing to trade to the 130.

I think they were focused on approach angles to achieve the off roading goal vs stowaway. But agree from a cargo space practicality perspective it is on the small side. But at least in my case when I’m loading up for long trips I use a roof top cargo box for skies and other equipment and the boot for suitcases. So never an issue for me.

Adding the 130 opens up the possibility of a pickup even though I think it won't happen. I have gone back and forth on getting a 130 when it becomes available or keeping my 110. My wife and I were talking about the amount of stuff it takes to haul around 1 toddler and a new baby, 2 dogs, and our luggage. The issue is it's just a short period of time that you need the extra space. I love my 110 but having extra space is great.

Don't they make quick-release toddler tie-downs for any of the roof racks yet?
