18" Rims that work with P400
#11
Funny thing is, when I bought 16" wheels for dedicated offroad tires for my JK Wrangler they wouldn't fit over the front calipers by a tiny amount. No fancy caliper swap for me -- got out the pneumatic die grinder and took off the corner that was rubbing till it wasn't rubbing anymore. Hit it with some high-temp paint, done.
I suppose JLR would repo the Defender if I did that?

My 18" TuffAnt wheels and new rear calipers are due to arrive today! Tomorrow I will have LT265/70R18 K02s wrapped around an 18" wheel! After an unimpressive off road performance of the Factory Wrangler Adventure tires that ended in me blowing out a side wall, I'm very excited to get a proper sized wheel and tire.

Was the swap as smooth sailing as billed. Any issues or headaches?
The 265/70/18 is 32.6" Any lift needed for these boots and their extra 0.3" radius.?

The brakes feel exactly the same. the rear calipers use the same pad, have an identical piston and connections. It just allows the TuffAnt wheel enough clearance to mount the wheel. The clearance is a bit tight, so you have to pay a little more attention to where you place wheel weights when balancing your tires.

I have the Johnson Rods 1 1/2" lift. Even in access mode there is no rubbing whatsoever, but I couldn't say if that's because of the lift rods or not.
