I was on the Black Rhino website and they say the York 18" will work with the Defender. Just seeing what you thought of Black Rhino rims? I'm think those rims with a lift and 33" Milestar Patagonia A/T. The lift would come from getting an IID tool if they update it for the new defender. I figure the IID tool would pay for itself over the years of owning the car.

I'd definitely call TSW before ordering those. They may work on the P300 but I don't see how it would be possible on the P400? TSW is at 1-800-479-9723

Hi,

I just want to say that you have done a great job Flyfishing701. I love the wheel you put on and it was my first choice, but as you have mentioned it is backordered ()like everything is during COVID).

If I remember the specks right for the 20" wheel, it is the same 5-120 bolt pattern with a hub center that matches all of the other full size Rover offerings at 72.6. Is the 20" wheel 8.5" wide with an offset of 25mm and back spacing of 5.73.

To compare this with another wheel I'm looking at, the Hercules. This wheel has the same initial specs in the 20" as far as center bore and bolt pattern, but the wheel is 20x9.5 and has a offset of a slightly higher 32mm and a larger backspacing to help center the extra width.

Do you feel your wheel/tires stick out flush with the fender lip now? as the offset decreases, the front edge of the wheel is forced out.

I also see that you have the wheel arch extensions on your Defender. Any clearance issues with these or just the mud flaps?

Thanks,

Rob

CrewCabRob - Yeah I stuck the pictures up and forgot to respond, I'm sorry Sir. Yes they sit nicely. The offset has them in a good position compared to fender. A little wider than OE with a little lower offset so it sits right on the edge of the fender. No rubbing at all except on the front mudflaps that I removed. Lemme know if you have any other questions Sir.

Ordered a First Edition in February while on vacation in Florida. Just notified that it is at the port and should be there by end of the week. I will fly down there next week to get it and drive it back to Missouri! Pangea Green, Black roof, Khaki with Ebony trim, 19" wheels & off road tires.
