We had ordered a 2017 Discovery HSE a few weeks back. Our order just went in at our dealership and due to the timing we were informed that the car will be a 2018, not a 2017 model. Does anyone out there know what changes, if any, have been made to colors, options and pricing? Thanks.

 

And I have also asked our dealership to report on this as soon as possible but oftentimes the internet is a bit ahead of the curve.

 

Ask your dealer for the order print out. I received mine for the 2018. the only thing I wasn't expecting was the TFT full instrument panel screen, same as the Range I think. also some of the option packages you see on the 'build your own' LR website are arranged slightly different for 2018. high recommend to get the 4 zone climate control, that can be added for $400. the rest is personal preference. I placed my order with the guy at the dealership who orders all the discoverys, he had a good working knowledge of the options. once the dealer gives you your order print out go throught it line by line. if they don't give that to you with your name on the order (I removed my name in the attached pics) then I wouldn't be so sure about having a legit order. I have attached the order print out my dealer gave me. since the 2018 orders went live last week it makes sense that you will be getting a 2018. mine is being built on 15DEC2017. and the last day to make updates to my order is early NOV2017. my dealer said it will arrive last week of JAN2018 or first week of FEB2018. feel free to send any comments or questions.

@dmhanrah I have a question regarding the 4zone climate. I see in your quote a $440 charge for it, but I dealer mentioned that it is only part of a 3,900$ package. Any idea where the disconnect is? I like your price better.

 

i was confused by that as well. I would ask to speak with the guy at your dealership who is actually putting the order into the system.

The system we see online to “build your own” is different than the system the dealer uses.

While the guy was inputting my order into the system he missed adding the “7 seat luxury climate package” into my order. When i requested he go back and add it because i really needed the 4 zone climate, he simply added just the 4 zone climate.

in the UK you can add just the 4 zone climate option so perhaps dealers in the US can as well.
