Dave seemed to like it. Think more fans will start to appear.

Default P400 first edition HUD

Hi! Does the first edition have head up display?
Been trying to get this answer, but conflicting information on the net.

The First Edition does not come with the head up display. I do have it on my Discovery and its OK. It's cool from a technology feature but I don't find it being worth the extra cost. Also, if you wear sunglasses, it is sometimes hard to see the HUD image. (Somehow the sunglasses filter out the image to a degree.) I honestly can live w/o it. On a separate note, one feature I wish the First Edition had was the adaptive cruise control--it comes with the regular cruise control which does not pace the vehicle ahead of you. Lastly, the First Edition does have the lane keep assist, but I find it very heavy handed; the lane keep assist is better in the Discovery.

This is a nice comparison between the G-class, Wrangler and Defender

This is very similar to what I plan to do to mine when it arrives:

I'm with you, Don. The first couple of the reviews were good but people made fun of the capabilities thinking this was the off-road version versus the First Edition version without the 18 and rear locker. Its nice to see Steve crushing it the second time around with one kitted for off-roading.
