Default 2021 110 x-dynamic hse drivers door and extended valve stem question

Hi All,

I'm a new Land Rover owner and I recently took the plunge and bought a 2021 X Dynamic HSE in Pangea green. I love it so far!

I have a few questions and I appreciate any direction you all might provide.

The first is about a plastic thingy on the lower part of my driver side door. It looks like it's missing an outer bit of plastic, see attached photo. Any idea what this is?

My next question is regarding the extended tire valves that came attached. I've never seen these before and wondering if I'm supposed to cap them. The standard valve caps don't fit. See attached photos for reference.

I appreciate any information you all can provide!

the plastic thing on your driver side door nests against the hood release latch when the door is closed - it prevents the hood from opening with the door closed.

Your trim piece on the drivers door just prevents you from opening the hood when the door is closed. But it's a 2 piece trim. You're missing the cover.
