I've just had the 18" wheels on my '04 Disco powdercoated black and now I'm looking for some valve stems in keeping with the quality and look of the rims. I'd like to get metal valve stems and have looked at Alligator from Germany but it's a bit technical for me. They make quite a few and it all depends on valve stem hole diameter, length, etc... Does anybody have any insight on this or am I destined to off the shelf stock rubber valve stems?

 

If you are planning on taking the vehicle off the road with some sort of metal valve stem, you are likely to tear them off and have flats when hit by rocks and sticks.
I wouldn't do it.
