Default 2021 Defender Dumb Questions

Started a thread, because I'm sure this won't be the last dumb question.

Bought my Pangea/Green P300 off the lot. When driving it back I discovered that, at night, it projects a logo on the ground near the doors. I hate it. What's it called and how do I turn it off? Looked in lighting settings but couldn't locate it.

Puddle light. You can find replacement puddle lights that are just simply light instead of a design.

It is a follow the leader action after Mercedes -- much on JLR vehicles is. I disliked the light at first on both vehicles, but have come to appreciate its unique usefulness.

More than once I have turned around in the dark to look at the vehicle and find by that light that I have dropped something when exiting the vehicle. Also, after unlocking it to enter and before closing the door, that light has revealed the same mistake of mine. Mostly gloves seem to fall out the door -- and paper work of one type or another.

I have no idea what it is called. I am not sure my use is what was intended to be, either.

puddle light --- AHH. So one does not dirty their shoes getting in or out. Well that purpose I have never used it for -- Interesting !
